Chankramana, also known as the Jewel Walk, is a sacred site within the Mahabodhi Temple complex in Bodh Gaya, India. It holds significant spiritual importance as it marks the spot where the Buddha, after attaining Enlightenment, engaged in walking meditation. This site symbolizes the deep contemplation and mindfulness that characterized the Buddha's practice during the period following His Enlightenment. The Buddha is believed to have walked here in meditation during this third week after Enlightenment.
